Walk-It-Out — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Walk-It-Out ("the app") is a tool that helps coaches manage and play their athletes' walk-out songs. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect. In plain terms: Walk-It-Out does not have its own servers, does not run third-party analytics or advertising, and does not sell or share your data.

Information you create in the app

Teams, athletes, jersey numbers, and song selections that you enter are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud enabled for Walk-It-Out, this data is synced privately to your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit so it stays consistent across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer of Walk-It-Out cannot see it.

Music and your media library

Walk-It-Out plays songs from the music already on your device. With your permission, the app reads your local media library to let you search for and assign songs. Audio is played locally on your device. The app does not upload, copy, or transmit your music.

Roster scanning (photos)

The optional "Scan Roster" feature reads athlete names from a screenshot you choose. Image processing happens entirely on your device. Images are not uploaded or stored by the developer.

Subscriptions and purchases

Walk-It-Out Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's App Store, including an introductory free trial. All payment and billing is handled by Apple — the app never sees your payment details. Purchase and subscription status is provided to the app by Apple's StoreKit. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

Update checks

To let you know when a new version is available, the app may fetch a small public file listing the latest version number. This request contains no personal information and is not used to identify you.

Notifications

With your permission, the app may show a local notification reminding you that Game Mode is keeping your phone awake in the background. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through any server.

Data the developer collects

None. Walk-It-Out has no backend server and the developer receives no personal data from your use of the app, except information you choose to send directly (for example, if you email feedback or a bug report).

Children's privacy

Walk-It-Out is intended for coaches and general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
